
Cellist with classical background, he loves experimenting different musical languages, ranging from folk to jazz and from improvisation to composition.
He has performed at several important national and international festivals and theaters, including the Konzerthaus in Berlin, the Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires, the Teatro Municipal in Santiago, the Parco della Musica in Rome, the Auditorium Paganini in Parma, the Teatro Verdi in Pisa, the Teatro Comunale in Modena, the Folkest – International Folk Music Festival, the Jasmine Festival of Classical, Jazz and World Music in Jerusalem, Aosta Classica, the Amici della Musica in Mestre, the Alba Music Festival, the Fondazione Fossano Musica, the Amici della Musica in Foligno, the Accademia degli Sfaccendati, and the Alpi Sonanti Festival.
Graduated in cello with Paola Mosca at the Conservatory of Cuneo (Italy), he improved his skills with Dario Destefano, Boris Baraz (Moscow Soloists) and Francesco Dillon (Quartetto Prometeo), and he joined the Masterclasses held by Enrico Bronzi , David Cohen, Alain Meunier, Michael Sanderling and Altenberg Trio. He then further deepened the knowledge of the chamber music repertoire with Antonello Farulli, Andrea Nannoni and Manuel Zigante at the Fiesole Music School. In parallel to the classical path, he studied improvisation and jazz arrangement with Gianni Negro, Giovanni Scotta and Riccardo Zegna.
In 2015 he co-founded Gli Archimedi, a chamber music ensemble dedicated to the discovery of different musical genres applied in the chamber music field, with which he formed an important partnership until 2023. With the trio he recorded “Forvojagi” and “Nostoi” (New Model Label).
In 2023 he released his first solo record work Questi Diversi Mondi [These Different Worlds] for the Da Vinci Classics & Jazz label.
In 2024 he created the solo cello project “Different Roots”, a search for the different roots of music, through the rediscovery of pieces belonging to different genres rearranged for cello, from Folk to Jazz, passing through ancient music, together with original compositions.
A project dedicated to the union between dance and original pieces for cello and live electronics is underway for 2026.
